I read that an "about me" page is not a resume. So what is most important for you to know about me?
- I like to eat peanut butter out of the jar.
- My outfit of choice is a hoodie, yoga pants, dangling earrings and hiking shoes - all at the same time.
- I like to break the rules. Or maybe a better way to say it is I like to do things my way.
Truly. These are the most important. Or else you wouldn't really know me.
When I was young, New York City was my playground. I grew up in a strict Catholic family where there was clear messaging to do what was "right" ... not necessarily what or the way I wanted to do it. Dancing was my escape ... my fantasy, a place where I could express myself the way I wanted. I will never forget the first time I saw The Nutcracker ballet ... it was so magical - I wanted to live there forever.
Reality hit in the 1960's. I became a very independent thinker and doer. And with the advent of the birth control pill I had control over my body - that was huge. I now had a myriad of life choices.
Kelly Taylor is a ZEST Catalyst & Speaker and Founder of the Crones Quest Movement. She trained in the principles of Feminine Leadership with Dr. Claire Zammit, and is a Certified Feminine Power Transformational Leader. As part of her mission, Kelly has embraced redefining the negative mythological term "crone" and reframed it as the the Crones Quest for women who are yearning to activate their zest for the quest. Kelly specializes in working with deeply caring women who are ready to celebrate their value, trust their inner voice, and bloom into visibility, while powerfully realizing their living legacy and vital contribution.
Kelly is a member of the International Association of Professional Life Coaches. She was the original host and facilitator of the Live Your Legend group in Tucson - a group that focuses on changing the world by doing what you love. Originally from New York City, she now lives in the Sonoran Desert outside of Tucson, Arizona with her husband, Bill, and their border collie Chase.

An excellent student, I knew college was part of my future. But truthfully, I felt more energized anytime life experience could be my teacher. After being employed as a dancer with the Manhattan Rockets, my first traditional job was as a tour guide at Rockefeller Center. Many years later I concluded my career as a corporate officer for the largest global commercial insurance brokerage in the world. I sometimes wonder how I got there ... my way, for sure. But over the years, I always felt something was missing.
I left corporate America in 2014 - it was time. Did I have all my IRAs and investments lined up and sufficiently funded according to the experts? Not really. But my next adventure was calling me. That said I was not prepared for abruptly coming up against society's glass ceiling of limitations for mature women - and I became disillusioned. That was when I was introduced to the principles of feminine power which provided me with clarity on my authentic life path and the confidence to step forward. It has changed my life forever. This was the missing piece.
So where does that leave me now?
Lit up! Passionate! Engaged! … and ready … SO ready …And through the confluence of my life experiences, the incredible present moment, and living on purpose as I create my legacy, I am sensing into that burning desire …I have connected to the Fire of Crone.
So what’s next?
What I’ve learned is how to live my legend, and what I am fired up about now is mentoring other women who are ready to take a personalized journey called “The Crones Quest” … where they will discover how to connect to that fire and apply the Crones Quest to their lives.
